- 350 g of Extra firm tofu
- 250 g of small Mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of grated Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup of ground toasted Almonds
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp of Vegetable oil
- 1 inch piece of peeled Ginger
- 1 tbsp of Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp of Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of Bread crumbs
These burger patties are healthy and low-calorie. You can fill them with these veggie patties, tomato slices, lettuce. If you want to maintain the vegetarian vibe, use sauces such as ketchup, mustard, and cilantro sauce.
Veggie Burger Patty Melts

Drain the tofu and pulse it in a food processor.
Spread ground tofu on cheesecloth and place over a colander. Join both sides of cloth over tofu and press to extract liquids from it; then, put it in a bowl.
Puree the mushrooms, onion, garlic, and ginger in the food processor.
Heat an oiled frying pan over medium heat, add the mixture and cook for at least 10 minutes until withered.
Add the tofu, cheese, soy sauce, sesame oil, bread crumbs to the mixture, and mix well.
Mold 6 patties about 2 cm thick.
Preheat a greased grill to high, and cook the patties until charred. Flip and grill until crispy and browned.
Make your burgers according to your preference.
