Ingredients
- 3 Turkey drumstickslarge and fresh
- 3 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 cups filtered Water
- 1/4 cup Kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

Turkey is always a craving for both children and parents, let alone smoked turkey drumsticks. While most people find them at amusement parks or county fairs, you can now cook these delicious smoked turkey legs at home, thanks to this amazing recipe.
To add a more succulent flavour to this dish, we are going to soak the turkey legs in a brine solution for 12 hours

Steps
1 Done | Mix all the brine ingredients in a 1-gallon sealable bag, then add the turkey drumsticks and let it refrigerate for 12 hours. |
2 Done | Take off the drumsticks from the brine, rinse with cool water, then pat dry with a paper towel. |
3 Done | Let the drumsticks air-dry in the refrigerator for 2 more hours. Leave it uncovered. |
4 Done | Remove from the refrigerator and rub only 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil all over the skin of each drumstick. |
5 Done | Preheat your wood pellet smoker-grill for indirect cooking at 250°F. |
6 Done | Place the drumsticks on the grill grates and let them smoke for 2 hours. |
7 Done | Increase the temperature to 325°F after 2 hours |
8 Done | Use an instant-read thermometer to make sure that the internal temperature of the thickest parts reaches 180°F. |
9 Done | Rest the smoked turkey drumsticks for 15 minutes before serving. |
