- 4 slices Bacon
- 1/2 cup Onionthinly sliced
- 2 cups Baby spinach leavesdivided
- 1/2 cup Fontina cheesegrated
- 9 inch Pie crust
- 5 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Whipping cream
- 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
- Salt
- Pepper

Steps
1 Done | In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crisp. |
2 Done | Remove bacon to a paper towel. |
3 Done | Reserving drippings in skillet, Crumble bacon and set aside. |
4 Done | In reserved drippings, sauté onion until tender (about 3 minutes). |
5 Done | Add spinach, one cup at a time, cook until wilted (about one minute). |
6 Done | Sprinkle cheese into unbaked pie crust. |
7 Done | Evenly distribute bacon and onion mixture over cheese. |
8 Done | Whisk together the remaining ingredients pours into pie crust. |
9 Done | Bake at 375°F for 25 to 35 minutes. |
10 Done | Cool to 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into wedges. |
