Ingredients
- 1 pound Flat-Iron Steak
- 2 tablespoons Chili powder
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons Lime juice
Directions
The Flat Iron steak is a special cut; it contains less fat than other popular cuts with a fine flavor; it would probably be very hard to distinguish this cut from T-bone steak. Even more, it is more tender and incredibly delicious. A true perfection!
The most amazing thing about this steak cut is its reasonable price, having the same values as a tenderloin steak, but less expensive than a strip and a rib-eye of the same grade, really worthy and easy to cook.
Here is our version of this southwestern dish; the steak is marinated in lime juice combined with our favorite spices then grilled.
Furthermore, if you don’t commonly use lime juice over the meat, then here is a great way to taste the extra flavor lime adds to the steak, really refreshing!
For a good balanced nutritional value, you can serve this steak with fries and mixed veggies. Enjoy!
