5 tbsp of Olive oil
Ground black pepper

Seared Broccoli & White Bean Tartines

    If you’re looking for a healthy and tasty meal, you’re in the right place.

    This white bean paste is suitable for a vegan diet and can be stored up to 3 days in the fridge.

    You can simply eat your seared broccoli or you can use it as a topping to your white bean tartines.

    Steps

    Trim off the hard base of the broccoli and cut into florets.

    Mix with 3 tbsp of olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

    Preheat a grill to high heat and place a topper over the grill.

    Grill the broccoli for about 7 minutes while flipping continuously until charred and the stems are softened a bit.

    To prepare the white bean mash, preheat the oven to 350 °F.

    Wrap the garlic in aluminum foil and cook for 40 minutes. Then, remove from the oven, let cool, and peel the garlic.

    Mix 3 cloves of the roasted garlic, the white beans, 2 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of olive oil, and salt in the food processor.

    Add as much water as you need to get a smooth and consistent mixture.

    Spread the bread slices with the beans paste and sprinkle the lemon zest.

    Serve with the broccoli florets on top or the side
