Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 pounds Assorted shellfish (such as U16 shrimp, dry-packed diver scallops, langoustines, and/or mussels) and firm white fish fillets (such as mullet, halibut, or tilapia), cut into 2-inch pieces
1/4 cup Olive oil plus more for drizzling
Kosher salt
freshly Ground black pepper
1 Lemon thinly sliced, plus ½ lemon
1 handful of Mixed herbs sprigs, such as tarragon, parsley, and chives, plus scallions
for serving Crusty bread

    A mixed grill doesn’t have to be based on meat. Seafood (including shrimp, dry-packed diver scallops, langoustines, and/or mussels) is up to the task. This is a mouth-watering dish of different kinds of flavors and juices. This is a straightforward recipe that allows seafood to catch the smoky flavor of the grill.

    Heat your grill on a medium-hot single-level fire.

    Toss the seafood in a bowl, add the olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Open a grill basket and put it on the grill. Arrange the seafood evenly over the bottom of the basket. Place some lemon slices over the seafood and top with the scattered herbs. The next step is to mix the herbs with olive oil.

    Keep grilling without moving the basket for about 4 minutes. Then you need to flip the basket over and squeeze the lemon half over the seafood. Continue grilling until the seafood is cooked through and opaque (the process takes about 4 minutes).

    Be careful when you open the basket. Then pour the contents into a shallow bowl or onto a serving platter. Add a little bit of olive oil, and it's ready to be served alongside the crusty bread.
