1.5 lbs of Pork shoulder
2 oz of Barbecue sauce
1 tbsp of Soy sauce
2 tbsp of Vegetable oil
4 trimmed and chopped Green onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 tsp of Paprika
1 tbsp of minced fresh Thyme
Ground black pepper
Salt

Rustic Pork Skewers

    Our pork skewers combine fresh, sweet, and savory flavors.

    These pork skewers can be served with rice or grilled vegetables, for instance, corn and potato.

    Steps

    Cut pork into cubes and place them in a Ziploc plastic bag.

    Blend the onion, garlic, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, thyme, paprika, black pepper, and salt in a food processor to make a glaze.

    Pour the mixture in the Ziploc bag until pork cubes are soaked and put in the fridge for a night.

    Remove the pork from the bag and dry it with kitchen paper.

    Arrange the pork cubes onto barbecue skewers.

    Place the seasoning glaze in a saucepan and cook until it boils. Let bubble for 5 minutes until condensed; then, let it cool.

    Preheat a greased grill to high and place the skewers on the grill.

    Cook for 2 minutes then, brush skewers with the glaze. Grill for at least 8 minutes, occasionally turning, until browned and charred.

    Serve warm.
