    This roasted chicken is quick and easy to make. It can be served during a festive dinner as an entrée.

    Season the inside of the chicken with salt, then spear it with the rotisserie skewer before you place it on your preheated barbecue.

    Ensure that the heat is as hot as possible, and then allow the chicken to cook for 10 minutes.

    While the chicken is cooking, mix the melted butter, salt, paprika, and pepper in a large bowl.

    After 10 minutes, reduce the heat then baste the chicken with the mixture you have just prepared.

    Once all the chicken has been basted, you can close the lid and cook the chicken for 1 to 1 ½ hour.

    While cooking, don’t forget to regularly baste it with the mixture, as this will help prevent the meat from drying out.

    To know when the meat is ready, the juices will run clear after inserting a skewer into the thickest part of the chicken body, or when your meat thermometer registers 180 degrees.

    When the meat is cooked, remove it from the barbecue.

    Allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

    While it is resting, make sure that you keep the meat covered up and then serve it.
