Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
8 Cipolin onions about 3 ounces each
2 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon of Kosher salt plus more to taste
1/4 teaspoon of Ground black pepper same as salt
1 ounce of Gorgonzola cheese
2 tablespoons of properly chopped Flat-leaf parsley
1 minced Garlic cloves
for the grill grate Oil

Roasted Onions with Gorgonzola Crumble

    Roasted onions do indeed melt in your mouth. This dish is so delicious, along with the Italian gorgonzola Crumble. It’s a light, delicious meal that you can prepare in just 10 minutes.

    Heat your grill. Cut the ends from onions and peel (you can cut the onions in half if they are large). Paint with 1 tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Crumble Gorgonzola in a small bowl and throw in with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper to taste.

    Paint the grill grate with oil after brushing it—place onions on the grill. Cover and grill till onions are charred in spots and tender (should take about 18 minutes), turn halfway through. If you have a grill with a temperature gauge, keep it around 350°F.

    Remove the grilled onions to a serving bowl, scatter, and top with Gorgonzola mixture.
