Piquant mango sauce combines different flavors and can be used as a sauce for meat and chicken or a dipping sauce.
Mangos are available all year round, but it’s better to buy them in the peak season, especially in June and July. It is one of the sweetest fruits and very versatile as it can be used for sweet recipes, sour or spicy.
Choosing the perfect Mango can be a little tricky; press it with your thumb. If it leaves a minor indentation, then buy it. You need to stay away from mushy ones or those who have brown marks on their skin.
It should be peeled with a potato peeler to make the process easier. Try not to waste any bit of the fruit meat. After peeling, try to cut to three central parts. After, it can be refrigerated for up to 7 days.
To get a little nerdy and scientific, here are some facts about this fruit. Mangoes contain more than 20 vitamines which make them superheroes fruit. They are mainly rich in vitamins A, C, and B6.
Mangoes will take care of your hair and skin and make them shiny. Low in calories yet high in nutrients.
This mango recipe sounds more appealing to you, doesn’t it? Make sure to add this sauce more to your grilled and roasted meat and chicken. It’s a must-try in summer.
