Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
3/4 cup Ketchup Kansas Style BBQ Sauce:
2 tablespoons Dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon Molasses
2 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 medium baking Potatoes cut into quarters
3 large Carrot cut into 1-inch chunks
6 halved Brussels sprouts
1.5 pounds Skinless and boneless chicken thighs
Non-stick foil

    Skillet roasted chicken is everyone’s favorite dish as it does not require a lot of effort nor much time to prepare. A whole one-pan supper, a dinner that almost makes itself, dipped in a mixture of garlic powder, pepper, and sauce and can be served with small baked potatoes

    Preheat the grill on medium heat.

    In a small bowl, mix all ingredients for Kansas-Style BBQ sauce the put it aside.

    Put Brussels sprouts, carrots, and potatoes in a cast-iron skillet, then add chicken thighs over veggies.

    Generously add the Kansas-Style BBQ sauce on chicken thighs with a pastry brush.

    Use a non-stick Foil sheet, non-stick side facing down over chicken, and tightly cover cast-iron skillet.

    Put cast-iron skillet onto the grill. Let it roast for 25-30 minutes.

    Remove the foil and keep roasting and use a meat thermometer and insert it in the chicken until it reads 180 ° F and makes sure that all juices are clear and the chicken is tender.

    Finally, take the skillet off the grill, cook chicken for 20 minutes.
