    Steps

    1
    Done

You should start with soaking the wood plank in cold water for 1 to 2 hours.

    2
    Done

Heat your grill, and pick the wood plank out of the water, and lay the fillet on it, skin side down.

    3
    Done

Mix olive oil, mustard, 1 tablespoon of dill, ¹⁄8 teaspoon of pepper, and ¼ teaspoon of salt in a small bowl. You should brush over the top side of salmon.

    4
    Done

Place planked fish on the grill, cover it, and let it be cooked till the fish gets filmy and moist at the center (the process takes about 10 to 15 minutes).

    5
    Done

Lift the plank from the grill (you should be wearing grill gloves). Be aware of over-cooking, and bear in mind that the fish will continue to cook slightly when removed from the grill.

    6
    Done

Mix sour cream, scallion, yogurt, and the remaining 1 tablespoon dill, ¼ teaspoon salt, horseradish, and ¹⁄8 teaspoon pepper. Cut the fish into 4 pieces (crosswise). You can present the fish on the plank with lemon wedges and dill sauce on the side.
