Steps
Done | Score the meaty side of each piece of short rib with a sharp knife to make three perpendicular cuts halfway through the meat (this will allow the marinade to penetrate the meat best.) |
Done | Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl, and stir well. |
Done | Place the short ribs in a 2- gallon resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over them. |
Done | Seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator overnight. |
Done | Preheat a grill to medium-high heat, remove the short ribs from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature. |
Done | Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on the grill, bone side down. |
Done | Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until well steered. |
Done | Lower the heat to medium-low and cook the ribs for 15 minutes while turning them frequently until they are nicely browned on all sides or until at the desired degree of doneness. |
Done | Remove the steaks from the grill and serve immediately. |
