- 12 peeled and deveined large Shrimp
- 1 tbsp of Butter
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 1tsp of grated Lime zest
- 1 minced Garlic cloves
- 175 ml of Vodka
- 1/2 tsp of Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp of White sugar
- 1 tsp of Hot pepper flakes
- Ground black pepper
This dish can be served as appetizer or as a tasty snack that accompanies your summer movie nights or gatherings.

Mix the garlic, sugar, pepper flakes, lemon zest, vodka, and vanilla extract until homogeneous.
Soak the shrimp in the mixture and mix gently.
Let cool in the fridge for an hour.
Remove the shrimp from the mixture and cook it until it starts bubbling.
Let it bubble for another 5 minutes until thickened.
Strain the sauce, add the butter, lime juice, and sprinkle salt and black pepper.
Preheat a greased grill over high heat and grill the shrimp for 3 minutes on each side.
Serve with the prepared dipping sauce
