Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 pound fresh large-capped Shiitake mushrooms
1 tablespoon of Rice vinegar or dry sherry
2 tablespoons of Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Honey
4 teaspoons of Toasted sesame oil
3 tablespoons of Vegetable oil
1 small Scallions
1 teaspoon of peeled and minced Gingerroot
1/2 teaspoon of Kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon of Ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of Sesame seeds
for the grill grate Oil

Grilled Sesame Mushrooms

    This clear recipe allows you to have juicy, meaty, and tasty grilled Mushrooms. Grilling keeps the natural and special sweetness of mushrooms. This simple dish is flavored with Japanese sesame oil. Grilled sesame Mushrooms can be made in less than 30 minutes.

    Start with removing stems from shiitake mushrooms. You need to get the mushrooms well-cleaned.

    Heat your grill. Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and 2 teaspoons of sesame oil in a small bowl. Put it aside.

    Cut scallion in half in a crosswise manner, and thinly slice whiter half. Place the slices in a large-sized bowl. You have to keep the green half. Add the remaining 2 teaspoons of sesame oil, ginger, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper to slices in a bowl. Also, add mushrooms and toss them to coat.

    Coat the grill grate with oil after brushing it. Place mushrooms at once on the grill grate and grill until they look grill-marked and tender; turn them once, 5 to 8 minutes total. If you have small mushroom caps, cook them on a heated, oiled grill screen or grill tray.

    Transfer mushrooms to a platter and drizzle with reserved sauce in a conserving manner. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cut the remaining scallion greens lengthwise into thin strips and cut scallion strips around mushrooms. now you can serve them alongside the remaining sauce
