Here’s one of the easiest burger recipes out there. Select your condiments, shape your ground meat into patties, grill them, transfer them to a bun and add your favorite condiments. It doesn’t get more straightforward than this.

Steps
1 Done | Shape the meat into four 6-oz [170-g] burgers, each about ¾ in [2 cm] thick and 4 in [10 cm] across. |
2 Done | Prepare enough coals for a hot charcoal fire, or preheat your gas grill on high for 10 minutes with the lid closed. |
3 Done | Sprinkle the burgers with salt and grill them for 8 to 9 minutes, turning once, until they are medium-rare. Transfer each burger to a bun. |
4 Done | Add condiments and serve. |
