Start with heating the grill. Using your hands, blend beef, garlic, onion, allspice, pepper, and salt in a bowl (Be aware of over mixing).
Lightly craft it into 6 patties which are no more than 1 inch in thickness. Put burgers in the refrigerator until the grill is ready.
Coat the grill grate with oil. Place burgers on the grill, and cover them. Let them be cooked for 7 minutes, and remember to flip after 4 minutes for medium-done (150°F, slightly pink). If you want some well-done burgers, you can add 1 minute per side (160°F).
Have Brandy in a small pitcher. Pour about 2 teaspoons over each burger; you should keep a distance when doing so because the Brandy will light a flame. Flick around burgers for a few seconds.
Toasting the buns: put the buns cut-sides down simply over the fire for the last minute of the cooking process. If you are serving burgers directly from the grill, you should serve them on rolls; however, if you decide to let burgers sit for a few minutes or so, separate burgers and rolls until just before eating.
