- 1 lb of Chicken drumsticks and thighs
- 1 cup of Ketchup
- 1 cup of Red wine vinegar
- 1 seeded and minced Chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- 1 tbsp of Dijon Mustard
- 2 minced Shallots
- 2 minced Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp of Brown sugar
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Ground black pepper
- Kosher salt
Spicy and sweet marinade for your chicken BBQ. The red wine vinegar adds sour and tangy flavors to you chicken. You can substitute the red vinegar with red wine for a sweeter taste. You’d enjoy this juicy and crunchy grilled chicken.
Yogurt-Marinated Chicken Kebabs with Aleppo Pepper

Pour 2 tbsp of olive oil in a saucepan and heat.
Cook the shallots and garlic for 4 minutes over medium heat while stirring.
Add the red vinegar, chipotle, ketchup, mustard, and sugar. Bring to boil and let it bubble for 15 minutes, occasionally stirring until condensed.
Let it cool a little bit, then mix in a blender until smooth. Add black pepper and salt.
Preheat a grill over medium heat. Grill the chicken skin side down for 15 minutes with the grill covered.
Flip the chicken, brush with the marinade and cook for at least 20 minutes (or more if necessary), brushing very often until done.
Let cool and serve with the remaining red sauce.
