Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
40 fresh scrubbed, clean Oysters in their shells
1/2 cup White sugar
1/4 cup Cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Tomato paste
1 tablespoon Dark Asian sesame oil
1 tablespoon Molasses
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
2 teaspoons Chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
1 cup seeded chopped Tomato Homemade Salsa Fresca:
1/4 cup freshly squeezed Lime juice
1/4 cup minced Red onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh Cilantro
1/2 teaspoons minced Jalapeños
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly Ground black pepper

This is a quick and easy recipe. All you need is a bag of oysters, a knife to cut the oysters, and a unique homemade salsa Fresca. Isn’t that incredible?

You can literally serve this as a meal if you have nothing in the fridge other than oysters; it would be an impeccable flavorful, tasty dish for you and your guests.

Prepare and preheat the grill to high temperature

Shuck the oysters and discard the top, flatter shells and loosen the oysters from the bottom shells by running the oyster knife carefully underneath the body of each oyster.

Return each oyster to its deeper shell, then place the oysters on the grill, shell side down, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the oysters begin to curl around the edges.

Carefully add about a teaspoon of the Chipotle BBQ Sauce over each oyster and continue to grill for about 2 minutes until the oysters are just cooked through, and the sauce is boiled around the edge.

Place the oysters on a platter or to serving plates, top each one with a teaspoon of the Salsa Fresca.
