2 lb Beef Stew Meat
2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Butter
1 Organic tomato paste from 6-oz can
2 cups chopped Onion
2 cups diced peeled Carrot
2 cups diced peeled Russet potatoes
1 cup Beef flavored broth
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 tablespoons Water

    This is Classic Homemade Beef Stew recipe is so easy to make and so heavenly. A one-pot meal that’s hearty, flavorful, and loaded with tender beef morsels, potatoes, and carrots. Cooked in a rich and savory sauce, this beef stew recipe is comfort food at its best.

    In a large bowl, toss beef with salt and pepper, spray a 6-quart Instant Pot with cooking spray.

    Adjust to normal pressure and melt the butter. Add the beef in 2 batches, and cook 2 to 4 minutes on the first side until browned.

    Turn and cook 2 to 4 minutes longer on the second side or until browned.

    Stir in the tomato paste.

    Stir in onions, carrots, and potatoes.

    Stir in broth. Secure lid, set pressure valve to sealing.

    Select manual, cook on high pressure for 45 minutes.

    Set pressure valve to venting to quick-release pressure. In a small bowl, beat cornstarch and water with a whisk. Then adjust to normal and heat the liquid to simmering.

    Gently stir in cornstarch mixture, cook for 30 to 60 seconds, while frequently stirring, until thickened
