    Scallops are everybody’s favorite seafood appetizer, and there are hundreds of Scallops recipes you can do at home

    Today, we are sharing one of our favorite scallop recipes; bacon-wrapped grilled scallops.

    This is one of the most effortless scallop appetizers, that tastes amazing and looks elegant.

    Steps

    Parcook the bacon on a cast-iron skillet for 4 minutes per side to render the fat.

    Remove the bacon from the pan before it browns and pat it dry with paper towels.

    Season the scallops with the smoked salt steak rub on all sides then wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.

    Place the scallops on a waxpaper-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    After 30 minutes preheat the grill to 400 degrees F.

    Grill the scallops for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until the bacon is cooked and the scallops are charred.

    Remove from the heat and serve.
