All over the years, Hamburgers have become a symbol of American cuisine. Hamburgers are extremely popular sandwiches which are loved all over the world. A hamburger consists of one or more cooked meat patties, normally beef, put inside a sliced bread roll or bun. The patty can be grilled, smoked, pan-fried, or flame-broiled.

A cheeseburger is a hamburger that is topped with cheese.

    Steps

    1
    Done

Heat your grill. Using your hands, mix beef, ketchup, water, pepper, and salt in a bowl until all ingredients are blended; but do not over mix.

    2
    Done

Carefully and lightly form it into 6 patties, and each one should not exceed 1 inch in thickness. Put the burgers into the refrigerator until the grill becomes ready.

    3
    Done

Brush the grill grate and paint it with oil. Place burgers on the grill, and cover it. Let it be Cooked for 7 minutes. If you want it medium-done (150°F, slightly pink), cook it for about 4 minutes, or so. For well-done burgers, add one minute per side (160°F). If you’re aiming to prepare Cheeseburgers, place 2 cheese slices on each burger for 1 minute before burgers are done.

    4
    Done

To toast buns, put them cut-sides down straight over fire simultaneously with the last minute of cooking. If you are serving burgers directly from the grill, it’s okay to serve it on buns. If burgers will rest, even for a few minutes, separate buns and burgers until just before eating.
